Hunterdon County Convenience Store Sells $200,000 New Jersey Lottery Scratch-Off Winner

A convenience store in Hunterdon County has become the latest location to sell a major New Jersey Lottery winning ticket after a player purchased a scratch-off ticket worth $200,000.
According to New Jersey Lottery officials, a top-prize-winning ticket from the “$500 Cash Craze” scratch-off game was sold on June 3 at a Krauszer Food Store located on Old Highway 22 in Clinton. The winning ticket carried a prize value of $200,000, making it one of the game’s highest available awards.
The winning ticket was part of the New Jersey Lottery’s “$500 Cash Craze” game, which offers multiple prize levels and several opportunities for players to win instant cash rewards. Lottery officials confirmed that despite this latest jackpot claim, three of the game’s four top prizes are still available to be won.
The game continues to offer a large number of secondary prizes as well. Officials reported that 6,123 of the original 9,231 prizes worth $500 remain unclaimed. The game is promoted as offering more than $4 million in $500 prizes, making it one of the state’s notable scratch-off offerings for players seeking smaller but frequent cash awards.
The “$500 Cash Craze” game was launched on March 24, 2026. A total of 5,436,900 tickets were printed for distribution across New Jersey retailers. Since its release, players throughout the state have continued purchasing tickets in hopes of securing one of the remaining top prizes.
The scratch-off game follows a straightforward format. Players reveal four winning numbers and compare them against 15 numbers displayed on their ticket. If any of their numbers match one of the winning numbers, the corresponding prize is awarded.
In addition to matching numbers, the game features special symbols that can instantly unlock prizes. A money bag symbol results in an automatic win, while a $500 burst symbol awards an immediate $500 prize. Players who reveal a stack of bills symbol win all 15 prizes shown on the ticket.
The latest $200,000 winner serves as another reminder that several significant prizes remain available in the game. With three top prizes still unclaimed and thousands of $500 prizes yet to be won, the “$500 Cash Craze” scratch-off continues to attract attention from lottery players across New Jersey.
As of the latest update from lottery officials, the game remains active, and eligible tickets continue to be sold through authorized New Jersey Lottery retailers statewide.
