Philadelphia Man Accused of Brutal Pennsauken Bat and Shooting Attack That Left Victim Fighting for Life

A Philadelphia man is facing multiple serious criminal charges after authorities accused him of carrying out a violent attack that left another man with life-threatening injuries in Pennsauken, New Jersey.
According to court records, 38-year-old Kalief Armstrong has been charged with first-degree attempted murder, third-degree aggravated assault, and several weapons-related offenses following the incident. The charges were announced on Tuesday in Camden County.
Investigators say the attack happened at approximately 11:15 p.m. on July 2 in the 8900 block of Haddonfield Road in Pennsauken. Authorities allege that the victim was first struck with a baseball bat before being shot during the same incident. The assault resulted in critical, life-threatening injuries, and the victim remains in critical condition.
