Maryland Police Continue Search for Missing New Jersey Woman After Possible Crash Raises Safety Concerns
A search is continuing for a New Jersey woman who disappeared in Maryland more than a week ago, as investigators work to determine what happened after she was last seen in Baltimore County.
According to authorities, 46-year-old Kimberly Gordon was last seen at approximately 2 p.m. on June 22, 2026, behind a Sky Zone trampoline park located on Pulaski Highway in Rosedale, Maryland. Since that afternoon, police have been trying to locate her and are asking the public to come forward with any information that could help the investigation.
Investigators believe Gordon may have been involved in a vehicle crash on the day she disappeared. Police said there is concern that she could have suffered a head injury, making it even more important to determine her whereabouts as quickly as possible. While her vehicle has already been recovered, Gordon herself has not been found.
Authorities said Gordon was driving a white 2024 Hyundai Elantra at the time of her disappearance. The vehicle displayed a wide-load sign and had stickers with her name and phone number on the side windows. Those markings were related to her job as a pilot car driver, also known as an escort vehicle driver, a role that helps guide oversized loads safely along highways.
The disappearance has drawn attention in both Maryland and New Jersey, where Gordon’s family has been searching for answers. Her mother, who lives in Lopatcong, New Jersey, reported her missing to local police in Warren County after losing contact with her. The missing person investigation has since involved authorities in Maryland, where Gordon was last known to be.
Police have not released additional details about the possible crash or the circumstances leading up to Gordon’s disappearance. At this stage of the investigation, officials are focused on gathering information that may help establish her movements after she was last seen on June 22.
Investigators continue to encourage anyone who may have seen Gordon, her vehicle before it was recovered, or anyone with information related to her disappearance to contact Baltimore County Police. Even small details could assist detectives as they work to piece together the timeline and locate her.
The case remains an active missing person investigation. Authorities are continuing their search efforts while asking members of the public to stay alert and report any information that could help bring Gordon home safely.
