Jersey Shore’s New Oceanfront Resort Moves Closer to Summer 2026 Debut

Developers say a huge Wildwood boardwalk luxury hotel project is on track for a late spring to early summer 2026 debut. The Wild Resort is slated to open next year in time for Jersey Shore season.
Developer Solly Levy Baghdadi of Wildwood Hospitality Group LLC said the resort is mid-construction. He said construction is progressing as anticipated and the team is confident about opening on time. Contractors, engineers, and municipal officials must coordinate many phases in large-scale developments, but the developer said the process is going well.
Baghdadi also thanked Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano and borough officials for their assistance in advancing the project. Public-private collaboration is essential for large projects, especially those in prominent and economically vital sites like the Wildwood boardwalk.
The Wild Resort is being developed at 3000 Boardwalk, Glenwood Avenue, near Morey’s main amusement piers. The position puts it in the heart of a popular Jersey Shore stretch. Five stories and 77,000 square feet will make the five-story facility one of the area’s most significant new hospitality additions.
Ten presidential suites with beachfront jacuzzis are among the 75 guest rooms planned. Developers used beach-toned hues and textures to reflect Wildwood’s seaside essence in the interior design, which blends modern comfort and coastal style. The building’s vertical form maximizes beach and boardwalk views and lets natural light into guest rooms and social areas.
The rooftop is likely to be a property highlight. It will have a pool, restaurant, and bar with ocean and boardwalk views. Vacationers and weekend visitors seeking a resort-style experience increasingly value such amenities in upscale coastal residences.
At street level, the resort will offer retail and eating to hotel and boardwalk customers. The plans include a full-service Starbucks, It’s Sugar confectionery store, and family-owned pizzeria. A fitness center and Wildwood-themed gift store will strengthen the resort’s link to the local community and tourism culture.
Developers believe each building milestone takes the project closer to providing a property that respects Wildwood’s past and promotes its future. Tourism is essential to the Jersey Shore economy, thus new hospitality expenditures often affect seasonal employment, local businesses, and visitor spending.
The Wild Resort will open in 2026 summer if building goes as planned. Wildwood, noted for its historic boardwalk and family attractions, has invested in its long-term appeal as one of New Jersey’s top seaside destinations with a big luxury resort.
