New Jersey Man Wanted for Sexual Assault of Two Minors Arrested in North Carolina

Police have arrested a New Jersey man suspected of sexually abusing two North Carolina minors.
Gilmar Da Silva Carvalho, 29, was taken by U.S. Marshals late Friday night in Watauga County, North Carolina, according to Riverside Police. Riverside, New Jersey, native.
The examination began last week after Carvalho was accused of having sex with a Riverside minor. The police later discovered that Carvalho may have been involved in another Willingboro, New Jersey child sexual abuse case.
After these were uncovered, Carvalho was charged with serious sexual assault, endangering a child, and having sexual contact with a juvenile. The orders didn’t indicate where Carvalho was, and police suspected he had departed New Jersey.
They were apprehended by New Jersey State Police, US Marshals, and Riverside Police. Through collaboration, they caught Carvalho in Watauga County, North Carolina.
