Tragic Incident in Piscataway: Police Shoot Armed Man, Three Found Dead in Home

Police in Piscataway, New Jersey, shot a knife-wielding man Monday night and found three people dead inside the home. The tragedies have rocked the community while officials investigate.

The NJ Attorney General’s Office reported that Piscataway police responded to a 5:30 p.m. River Road 911 call. Police responded to the house after a knife-wielding suspect was reported. After arriving, officers shot and killed the armed man as customary in life-threatening situations.

Officers found three more bodies inside the home after securing it. Middlesex County Prosecutor is probing Monday night deaths. Authorities said the event is localized and poses no public concern. There was community security.
