Three Detained After Mall Disturbance Sparks Panic in Passaic County

In Passaic County, New Jersey, at Willowbrook Mall, three people were arrested after one gunshot on Tuesday night. The food area in the mall was empty at 7 p.m. because people were scared.
The Wayne Police Department quickly went to the scene of the shooting and the people who were running. Joseph Rooney, the police chief, said there was one shot during the fight, but no one was hurt. To keep people safe, police quickly roped off the area.
Two adults and one teenager were arrested after the fight. There is still an investigation into what happened, and no charges have been made yet. If you saw or heard anything that could help with the case, please call the Wayne Police Detective Bureau.
There is no longer a danger, according to police, and Willowbrook Mall will open at its regular times again. The department watches over things and puts neighborhood safety first.
This example shows that knowing what’s happening and how quickly the police can come can help people stay safe in unexpected scenarios. The Wayne Police think that being open and involving the people in the investigation is very important.
