Local Woman Found Handcuffed in Car Hours After Disappearing From College Parking Lot

Morris County mother found handcuffed in suspect’s car front seat hours after leaving college parking lot last week. Kidnapping confirmed against target.
On December 5th her family submit her missing reportto Bayonne Police in the afternoon. Due to safety concerns, her parents stated she had not picked up her children from school and could not be reached by phone. Her search was swiftly coordinated by officials.
Police found her car abandoned in Randolph’s County College of Morris parking lot. The damaged phone on her person raised suspicions. Akram Elsayed, 28, of Roselle called her before school ended, according to CCTV. Stays for her drive.
The woman at 9:40 p.m. was in Andover Township. Newton, Sussex County Sheriff’s Office, Andover Township Police, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, and NJ State Police pursued Elsayed’s car. A pistol was recovered at the driver’s door following arrest.
She safely attached to the suspect’s car’s passenger grab grip. The local hospital treated her swiftly.
Her arrest put her to Andover. He has four first-degree carjackings and abductions, two second-degree burglaries, six first-degree aggravated sexual assaults, and two attempted felonies. He’s in Morris County Jail awaiting trial.
Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll said the event appeared targeted and County College of Morris students and teachers were safe. Police promote information sharing.
