Zaxby’s Launches Its First New Jersey Location in Magnolia and Begins Hiring for Key Roles

Zaxby’s chicken fingers, wings, and sandwiches are popular. Magnolia, NJ needs leaders and crew. Georgia’s brand is moving to New Jersey to reach more people outside the South.
A hotel will be built there. Magnolia’s old Arby’s is on North White Horse Pike (Route-30) next to stores. Inside and out, the building will be renovated to become a full-service Zaxby’s. The local small business wants to open late 2025, possibly before Thanksgiving.
It needs a general manager, assistant general manager, shift manager, and crew when it opens. Each shift manager earns $19–20 an hour, each assistant general manager $20–21, and each general manager $60,000–$65,000. Paid training, discounts, and other benefits make the first job offer appealing to New Jersey franchisees.
Zaxby’s will open first in South Jersey and Philadelphia, New Jersey. People like non-local fast-casual chicken chains here. It’s their first store in this region; they have over 900 in the US. It was chosen because it was accessible, had enough space to build, and locals wanted more chicken restaurants.
Residents say Zaxby’s built faster than if they had to start from scratch because they used the old Arby’s site to enter the state. Magnolia is committed to South Jersey and may open more stores if this one succeeds.
Magnolia and Camden County offer chicken fingers, sandwiches, and “zalads”. It claims building projects and new leases will create jobs and boost the local economy.
Once they film and post signs, Zaxby’s first New Jersey store will open in late 2025. Leadership candidates should apply early because the company is still building and training.
