Marlboro Home Break-In: Amazon-Disguised Burglar Among Suspects, Police on Alert

Police: Three suspects in Marlboro home break-in include Amazon-dressed man
Marlboro police say three masked individuals broke into a home this week, one as an Amazon delivery driver. Monday’s strange burglary attempt on Bramble Drive ended without a theft, according to detectives.
Quick police response leads to arrest
Nestor Pachon-Perez, 38, of Guttenberg was detained shortly after. He was found in a car on Mount Laurel Road near the targeted property. Police emphasized that Pachon-Perez was not the Amazon disguised person.
He is charged with burglary, attempted theft, theft, criminal mischief, and conspiracy. Monmouth County jail officials say Pachon-Perez is being kept as the inquiry continues.
Manhunt for two suspects
One suspect has been arrested, but police are still looking for two others. Three people forced their way inside the home wearing masks, gloves, caps, and satchels.
Police said the suspects arrived in a dark Honda Odyssey minivan with a stolen license plate. Doorbell footage showed them approaching the home from the side before entering.
Investigators Check Connections
The police are investigating whether this burglary attempt is related to previous local incidents. Investigators also informed Amazon of the suspect’s disguise using their delivery uniform.
For now, authorities want anyone with security footage or case information to come forward.
Current Community Issue
The unique use of an Amazon disguise has prompted local concerns about crooks exploiting reputable delivery companies. Marlboro police stressed that they are working hard to protect the neighborhood and find the two unnamed perpetrators.
