TruGolf Links Launches Major Indoor Golf and Entertainment Destination in Cherry Hill

Indoor golf is continuing to grow across the United States, and New Jersey is now home to a new destination designed for golfers, families, and social gatherings. TruGolf Links has opened its flagship franchise location at the Plaza at Cherry Hill, introducing a modern entertainment venue that blends advanced golf simulation technology with dining and hospitality under one roof.

The newly opened facility covers more than 6,000 square feet and is built to offer a year-round indoor golf experience regardless of weather conditions. The centre includes five high-end golf simulators, a chef-inspired restaurant, a full-service bar, lounge seating, and spaces for private events. Company leaders say the goal is to create a destination that appeals not only to experienced golfers but also to beginners, families, and businesses looking for unique group activities.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled to take place in early August, with Cherry Hill Mayor Dave Fleisher expected to participate. The official grand opening celebration will follow later that week, giving visitors an opportunity to explore the new venue through equipment demonstrations, contests, and community activities.

The Cherry Hill location is being led by franchise owner and regional developer Nick Reimondo, who brings nearly two decades of experience in the hospitality industry. According to Reimondo, the project has been in development for more than a year and was designed to become more than just an indoor golf centre.

He said the venue welcomes a wide range of guests, from golfers looking to improve their skills to families searching for weekend entertainment, couples planning a night out, and companies hosting meetings or team-building events. The facility also includes a multisport arcade, allowing visitors with different interests to enjoy the experience together.

One of the centre’s biggest attractions is TruGolf’s Horizon golf simulator. The system features a large 17-foot projection screen and an elevated hitting platform that creates an immersive playing environment. Golfers can virtually play more than 17,000 courses from around the world, including several well-known courses located in the New Jersey region.

The company believes advanced simulator technology is helping make golf more accessible to people who may not have the time or opportunity to visit traditional outdoor courses. Indoor facilities also allow golfers to practise consistently throughout the year, even during winter months or periods of bad weather.

TruGolf, a publicly traded technology company listed on the Nasdaq, is expanding its TruGolf Links franchise network as demand for indoor sports entertainment continues to increase. The company has already secured commitments for more than 100 future franchise locations throughout the Northeast and Midwest, signalling an aggressive growth strategy.

Company executives describe the Cherry Hill location as an important milestone for the franchise programme. They say it represents the full TruGolf Links concept by combining premium golf simulation, quality dining, arcade entertainment, and social gathering spaces into one destination.

TruGolf Links President Nate Larsen praised the Cherry Hill team for delivering what the company considers its flagship customer experience. He said the facility highlights TruGolf’s simulator technology while also providing a high-quality food and beverage programme designed to encourage longer visits and repeat customers.

Dr Ben Litalien, TruGolf’s chief development officer, also emphasised the importance of the Cherry Hill location. He noted that the Plaza at Cherry Hill is one of the region’s leading retail destinations, making it a strong location for introducing the company’s flagship franchise model.

Beyond casual play, the facility offers several programmes aimed at building a local golf community. Visitors can purchase memberships, participate in league competitions, schedule private golf lessons, or reserve the venue for birthdays, corporate functions, and other special events. Comfortable lounge areas and food service are intended to support both small gatherings and larger group experiences.

Pricing for simulator use begins at $60 per hour, while monthly memberships start at $99. Membership options are designed for golfers who want regular access to practice sessions, league play, and additional member benefits.

The opening reflects a broader trend within the sports and entertainment industry, where businesses are combining recreational activities with dining and social experiences. This “eatertainment” model has gained popularity as consumers increasingly seek destinations that provide multiple experiences during a single visit.

With its first flagship franchise now operating in Cherry Hill, TruGolf Links is positioning itself to compete in the growing indoor golf market while expanding its national footprint. Company leaders believe the combination of cutting-edge technology, hospitality, and community-focused programming will help attract both dedicated golfers and first-time visitors looking for a new entertainment option.
