New Costco Fuel Center in East Hanover Expands Gas Service for New Jersey Members

Costco has expanded its fuel operations in New Jersey with the opening of a new large-capacity gas station at its East Hanover warehouse, giving members another convenient option for fueling up in Morris County.

The new fuel station is located at 132 Route 10 in East Hanover and recently began serving Costco members. Designed to handle heavy traffic, the station features four fueling islands with dispensers on both sides, allowing up to 32 vehicles to receive fuel at the same time. The expanded capacity is expected to help reduce wait times and improve the overall fueling experience for customers.

According to station supervisor Matthew Fernandez, the location offers strong accessibility for drivers traveling through the area. Positioned near Routes 10 and 287, the station sits along a busy transportation corridor that attracts a steady flow of local and commuter traffic.

Costco’s fuel stations are available exclusively to warehouse club members. The East Hanover location provides access to Kirkland Signature gasoline, the company’s private-label fuel product. Costco states that its gasoline contains detergent additives that exceed federal minimum requirements for both regular unleaded and premium fuel grades.

The company has also incorporated several design features intended to make fueling faster and easier. The station uses a one-way traffic flow system to help reduce congestion and improve vehicle movement throughout the property. In addition, extra-long fuel hoses allow drivers to fill their vehicles from either side, providing greater flexibility at the pumps.

The East Hanover fuel center adds to Costco’s growing network of gas stations across New Jersey. The retailer currently operates 21 warehouse locations throughout the state. Most of those locations offer fuel service, with Bridgewater and Hackensack remaining the only New Jersey Costco warehouses that do not currently have gas stations.

The opening reflects Costco’s continued investment in member services and fuel infrastructure across the Garden State. With its high-capacity layout and strategic location, the East Hanover station is expected to serve a large number of drivers seeking convenient access to fuel while visiting the warehouse.

For Costco members in Morris County and surrounding communities, the new station provides another option for purchasing gasoline at a location designed to handle significant daily traffic while maintaining efficient service.
