South Plainfield Tigers Pull Off Narrow Victory Over Ranked St. Joseph Falcons

No. 9 St. Joseph (Met.) lost to South Plainfield 55-54 in an entertaining basketball contest. The Tigers battled a top state squad and showed resilience this season.
South Plainfield’s Andrew Bena excelled on January 27. He led the Tigers’ balanced offense and defense with 16 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists. Bena’s leadership kept South Plainfield calm against a Falcons club that had only lost once.
