Two New Jersey Players Score Big in Friday Lottery Drawings, Millions in Prizes Claimed

Friday brought major wins for two New Jersey residents, as lottery luck rewarded players in both the Jersey Cash Five and Mega Millions games. A ticket purchased in Somerset County hit the jackpot in the Jersey Cash Five drawing, resulting in a prize of $634,313. Officials confirmed that this is the second-largest prize awarded in the game so far this year.

The winning ticket was sold at Raritan Oil, located on East Somerset Street in Raritan, which will also receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The numbers drawn for this jackpot were 13, 25, 38, 39, and 41, with the Bullseye being 39 and the XTRA number 02. In addition to the jackpot winner, twenty-five other players correctly matched four out of five numbers plus the Bullseye, each receiving $500.

Meanwhile, excitement also struck in Middlesex County, where another lottery player turned a $10,000 Mega Millions ticket into a $100,000 win thanks to the 10X multiplier. This multiplier was part of a rule change implemented in April 2025, which randomly grants players the chance to multiply their prize by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X. Officials noted that this was the largest multiplier payout in New Jersey since the new rule took effect.

The winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at Jersey Pride Food Store on Route 516 in Old Bridge. The winning numbers were 02, 22, 33, 42, and 67, with the Mega Ball being 01. The game’s updated multiplier system has added a new layer of excitement for players, making it possible for more substantial wins on smaller tickets.

These recent victories highlight how lottery games in New Jersey continue to attract attention and excitement, giving residents the chance to win life-changing sums of money. While the odds remain challenging, the state’s lottery draws provide a thrilling opportunity for players across the region.
