Wildly Popular Southern Chicken Brand Launches First New Jersey Restaurant This Week

Zaxby’s first New Jersey location opens December 15, 2025. Chicken meals in New Jersey were the brand’s first Northeast launch.

Zaxby’s Magnolia, Camden County opened at 804 North White Horse Pike, a former fast-food restaurant. Magnolia’s chicken and friendly neighborhood will quickly win over fans.

The 3,000-square-foot restaurant seats 40. Modern eateries prioritize takeout and delivery, thus Zaxby’s has a drive-thru and accepts app and delivery orders.

Zabbies’ crispy Chicken Fingerz, delectable wings, and sauces are popular nationwide. There are sandwiches, salads (called “Zalads”), sides, and special things like loaded fries.

Magnolia is expected to employ 50 local culinary and front-of-house staff. Residents can open and work at the new restaurant.

The shop is part of Zaxby’s NJ expansion. Magnolia franchisees aim to open South Jersey and other outlets. NJ is important to the chain’s Northeast expansion, says leadership.

New Jerseyans prefer fast-casual Zaxby as Southern-style chicken restaurants grow. Residents and visitors can soon experience what has made this chain a regional favorite for decades with its official launch this week.
