Passenger Killed and Driver Injured After Early-Morning Car Crash in Buena Vista Township, Police Report

State police say a Buena Vista Township car hit a tree early Monday morning. Vehicle crash killed passenger and injured driver. The police say the car left Post Road after five in the morning, briefly returned to the sidewalk, and left again before hitting a tree.

The crash killed 43-year-old Vineland resident Luis Martinez. Martinez led. Later, witnesses said he died. A local hospital treated the unnamed driver’s minor injuries.

Morning car accident is under investigation by police. The police haven’t said if weather, speed, or alcohol caused the crash. The crash that killed many was investigated.
