MAGA Campaigner Calls on Trump and GOP to Embrace Every Voting Tool Ahead of 2026

Scott Presler, a conservative grassroots organizer, advised former President Donald J. Trump and Republican Party leadership to use all voting methods in the 2026 midterms Presler warned that unless the GOP expands voter outreach, it risks losing its House majority and reviving impeachment proceedings after Democrats won several key state and local races.
Republican voter registration organization director Presler says the party shouldn’t undermine early voting, absentee ballots, and mail-in ballots. The president has criticized mail-in and absentee ballots, but Republicans must “use every tool to our advantage” to maintain majorities. He warned that ignoring alternative voting methods will weaken the GOP in 2026.
Presler said his loyalty to Trump and three votes did not prevent him from being honest. He said Republicans will “lose everything” if they don’t use early voting and mail-in ballots, which have grown in importance. Presler says House retention, not just the White House, is at stake.
Presler made these remarks after Democrats won the New Jersey gubernatorial race, New York City’s mayoralty, all Virginia statewide offices, and a California congressional map referendum favoring Democratic districts. Republicans must reform before the next election.
President Trump has called mail-in ballots and electronic voting machines “highly inaccurate” and “seriously controversial,” promising executive action to reform or eliminate them. Presler thinks the president and party would make a strategic mistake by abandoning these voting channels.
Presler suggests Republicans support and organize around supplementary voting options. He warned that traditional Election Day votes would not be enough for “low-propensity” Republicans, emphasizing his grassroots work.
Presler predicts a House majority loss, emboldened opposition, and possible consequences for the president’s second term if his warning is ignored. He advised Republicans to broaden their voting strategy and mobilize early and by mail or risk losing control to Democrats.
