Laura Loomer Warns GOP Could Collapse After Trump’s Presidency Amid Internal Fights

Laura Loomer Predicts GOP Collapse After Trump’s Presidency Amid Party Infighting

Far-right political activist Laura Loomer has sparked heated debate with her grim prediction about the Republican Party’s future once former President Donald Trump completes a potential second term in office. Loomer, a vocal Trump supporter often described as closely aligned with his political movement, believes the GOP will struggle to survive in a post-Trump era.

On Tuesday, Loomer took to X to voice her concerns, claiming that too many high-profile Republicans are competing for the “Make America Great Again” mantle, but none have the leadership qualities to replace Trump. She argued that internal divisions and personal rivalries within the GOP could cause the party to fracture beyond repair.

According to Loomer, the so-called “big tent” the GOP has built is filled with figures who “hate each other,” making it nearly impossible for a unified post-Trump movement to thrive. Her statement comes at a time when Republican leaders are already grappling with visible tensions and factional disputes.

Public Feud with Marjorie Taylor Greene

Loomer’s prediction follows a high-profile feud with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), another prominent Trump ally. The dispute erupted after Loomer criticized the U.S. Army for honoring Medal of Honor recipient Florent Groberg, a former Army officer who heroically stopped a suicide bomber in Afghanistan in 2012, saving multiple lives.

Loomer questioned Groberg’s loyalty to Trump, claiming he had previously supported Democrats and noting that he was not U.S.-born, despite becoming a naturalized citizen in 2001. Greene quickly fired back, calling Loomer a “coward” and accusing her of disrespecting even America’s most heroic figures.

The clash escalated as Loomer launched personal attacks against Greene, calling her “the dumbest member of Congress” and accusing her of jealousy over Loomer’s rising influence within Trump’s circle. Loomer insisted that Greene turned against her as soon as she began gaining recognition for her work in support of the former president.

Mixed Reaction from Trump Supporters

Lots of Trump fans and political commentators had a lot to say about Loomer’s bad news for the Republican Party. Some people agreed with her that there was too much fighting within the group, while others tried to make things look better.

A lot of people said that Vice President JD Vance could bring people together and be Trump’s most likely replacement. Trump recently called Vance a strong future leader in the GOP, and many polls show that he is the clear favorite to be president in 2028.

Some people see Vance as a good sign for the future of the party, while others told Loomer to focus on good things happening instead of making people angry with bad predictions.

The Part Loomer Plays in Trump’s Political World

Since Trump’s first term, Loomer has used her large social media following to go after people in and around Trump’s government that she thinks are not loyal. She has been known to find old posts on social media, look into past political donations, and try to get some politicians removed. Loomer has taken credit for firing several well-known people, including a top U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent.

Because she is always loyal to Trump and doesn’t mind taking shots at political opponents or other Republicans, she is a controversial but important figure in Republican politics.

The GOP is planning for the 2028 presidential race, and Loomer’s warning shows how deeply divided the party is. Her prediction of a crash after Trump may come true or not depending on how well Republicans can work together or how far apart they become because of different goals.
