Morrissey’s Early 2026 Shows Halted Amid Health Concerns

Cancelled concerts in 2026 saddened Morrissey fans. Due to a pharmaceutical reaction, Rancho Mirage’s Agua Caliente Casinos have “postponed indefinitely” the singer’s Saturday night concert. The artist has had schedule conflicts before.

Morrissey’s Rancho Mirage and San Diego Civic Theater concerts on January 6 were canceled. Fans are unsure of future appearances because the venue has not rescheduled. These cancellations highlight the artist’s tour date concerns after repeated scheduling adjustments.

From early 2025, affected shows were rescheduled. Morrissey missed 22 gigs in 2025 due to touring delays. Last September, a real social media threat led the musician to cancel two Ottawa gigs. The performer canceled his November South American tour and December Dominican Republic gig, his first, due to fatigue.

Morrissey’s January 10 San Antonio concert is still possible. With live engagements on hold, the musician is working on new music. Last month, he signed with Sire Records and released 12 tracks on Christmas Day ahead of a new album. This project and the unreleased “Bonfire of Teenagers” album will be Morrissey’s first new music since 2020’s “I Am Not a Dog on a Chain.” The release date is unknown.

Fans eager for live shows and new music must listen. Morrissey’s touring schedule has been limited by health and personal concerns, but new music offers a glimpse into his future.
