Devon J. Rick-Bundschuh, 18, of Middlesex faces burglary, theft, conspiracy, and employing a minor charges, according to authorities. Police stated he collaborated with a 16-year-old accomplice, whose identity is unknown due to her age. The child faces burglary, stealing, and conspiracy charges under youth legislation.
Break-In Details
Investigators say the suspects broke into the school’s rooftop and storage containers early on August 12. They allegedly took $700 in sports equipment and other goods. The next day, a Middlesex School District employee reported the theft.
Stolen Equipment Arrest and Recovery
Detectives immediately identified and arrested the main suspect. Rick-Bundschuh was arrested Thursday and freed on his own recognizance. When officers investigated his residence, they found some stolen stuff. After their release, both suspects voluntarily returned the remaining equipment later that day, police added.
