Costco Officially Coming to Paramus, To Build New Store on Route 17

Paramus, NJ— A new Costco shop has been approved for Paramus’ Route 17, one of New Jersey’s busiest roadways. Town mayor verified the news Friday.
A new Costco is opening. The initiative received “yes” from Paramus leaders. Route 17’s large empty property will house the business. Kmart and Stop & Shop shuttered long ago on that lot.
The town mayor is thrilled. Costco is amazing, he said. He advised filling empty lots. This benefits the community and its residents.
Nearby residents worry about traffic. They fear the new store will congest the roadways. To help neighbors, the shop will build fences and plant trees.
The 21st New Jersey Costco will open here. Costco is an excellent place to get lots of products cheaply. Card is required to shop there.

The new Costco’s construction start date is unknown.
