Wrong-Way Crash on the New Jersey Turnpike Claims Four Young Lives

While approaching from the north, a 41-year-old Westminster, Colorado Dodge Ram pickup truck driver hit a southbound SUV in the head. Trucks hit SUVs.
Lakewood’s 19-year-old Yaakov Kilberg drove the black Mazda CX-5. He was accompanied by Fallsburg and Lakewood residents Shalom Cohen, Chaim Grossman, and 18-year-old Aharon Lebovits Each of the four kids died instantly.
The trucker was hospitalized with critical injuries. The 29-year-old Nova Scotia tractor-trailer driver survived. An investigation began Monday morning, but no charges were filed.
