As soon as environmental experts approve, pupils will return to a new part-time schedule, according to school superintendent Mark Pease. For a month, kids will alternate between attending school and learning online.
Families can pick up a school Chromebook at the cafeteria entrance on Monday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This helps online learning.
Over 800 7th and 8th kids will be affected by this change. On school days, buses will run at the same times. The school will serve breakfast and lunch, and online students can take lunch home.
All after-school clubs and activities are canceled, and indoor sports teams must reschedule. School officials said they are working hard to restore normalcy as soon as feasible. All other schools in town are open and operating normally.
