Trump is Working Up to 12-Hour Days, White House Confirms

The White House denies reports that President Donald Trump is tired as commander in chief. Recently obtained Oval Office records show that the administration claims Trump has worked up to 12 hours a day for the past month.
The documents from November 12–25 show the 79-year-old president working 50-hour weeks. The statistic does not include weekend calls, briefings, or work outside of office hours.
The logs detail a hectic schedule of meetings, calls, and briefings on national and international topics. On November 12, aides logged 32 meetings and phone calls with politicians, administration officials, and industry leaders as Congress ended the longest government shutdown in U.S. history. The logs’ schedules matched Trump’s White House calendar, however some names were deleted for privacy.
This new information comes amid reports on the president’s workload and stamina. According to a recent analysis, Trump has made less formal appearances and begun his daily commitments later than in his first year. That report noted Trump’s tiredness during televised briefings.
Trump has called media criticism of his energy levels unfair and misleading. After a recent physical and cognitive exam, he has defended his health and called negative news politically motivated.
The White House press office said Trump still performs presidential duties. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump’s private schedule, social media activity, and continual interest in national and international problems show he works hard. The government rejected charges that he was unfit for office, citing his regular routine.
Presidents have busy schedules, especially during legislative or global activities, according to experts and political commentators. Official logs demonstrate that Trump’s days are filled with briefings, strategy discussions, and media interactions that need stamina, despite public disputes about energy and age.
The conversation raises questions about the physical demands of the president and the scrutiny leaders endure in governing. The White House claims that Trump’s work ethic and national affairs involvement are unaffected by criticism.
