Stephen Miller Calls Protesters “Stupid White Hippies” as D.C. Crime Debate Intensifies

“Stupid White Hippies”: Stephen Miller Sparks Fury in DC Protest Clash
A big political fight started in Washington D.C. A top White House man, Stephen Miller, is in the middle of it. He said very mean words about the people who are protesting.
The fight began after President Trump sent the National Guard to help the police. Many people did not like this and started protesting in the streets.
What Did Stephen Miller Say?
Miller, along with Vice President JD Vance and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, went to meet with National Guard soldiers. There, he spoke about the protesters in a very insulting way.
He called them “stupid white hippies” who all “need to go home and take a nap because they’re all over 90 years old.”
He also said the protesters have “no roots” in the city and are supporting criminals. “We are not going to let the communists destroy a great American city,” Miller added.
What About the Vice President?
Vice President JD Vance also criticized the protesters. He said it was “bizarre” to see “a bunch of old, primarily white people” protesting safety policies when they have “never felt danger in their entire lives.”
Is Crime Really Up in D.C.?
This is the big question at the heart of the fight.
The Trump Administration says there is a major crime problem in the city that requires the National Guard.
However, official police data tells a different story. The data shows that violent crime in D.C. has actually dropped by 27% compared to last year. In fact, crime in 2024 hit a 30-year low.
Despite this data, President Trump claims on social media that the city released “Fake Crime numbers.” He announced that the Justice Department is now investigating the city’s police department.
Many people who live in Washington D.C. are not happy because the government took control of their police.
The story is not finished yet. The fight between leaders and protesters is getting stronger every day.
