Oasis Reunion Concerts at MetLife Stadium: What Fans Should Expect from the Epic ‘Live ’25’ Tour

One of New Jersey’s biggest stadiums will host Oasis’ long-awaited reunion. The highly anticipated Oasis Live ’25 tour will visit MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on August 31 and September 1. When Liam and Noel Gallagher play their greatest hits live again, the massive venue will be crowded with Tri-State and beyond fans.
This return is significant for many fans. On their 1995 Definitely Maybe tour, Oasis performed Asbury Park’s tiny Stone Pony. A flying beer can hit Liam Gallagher during the opening song, inciting commotion. New Jersey fans’ tough start has transformed into a remarkable return, demonstrating the band’s growth and durability.
Oasis declared a comeback last year after disbanding in 2009, drawing worldwide interest. On July 4, their Live ’25 tour began in Cardiff, Wales, drawing large crowds around Europe and North America. The band is excited to perform two sold-out nights in East Rutherford, reliving a generation’s music.
Since the tour began, early and later fan favorites have been performed. Show highlights include “Wonderwall,” “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Champagne Supernova,” “Morning Glory,” “Live Forever,” and “Rock ’n’ Roll Star.” The mix takes the audience through the band’s history and has them singing from the first chord to the last encore.
At both MetLife Stadium shows, Cage the Elephant will open for Oasis after Cast. Around 8:45 p.m., Oasis will perform. A long night of music under the late-summer sky is predicted with mostly sunny conditions and daytime temperatures in the low 80s, dropping to the 60s at night.
Both MetLife Stadium concerts sold out, however resale markets offer $250–$850 seats depending on stage proximity. Popular late August general admission floor tickets cost $550. The venue advises concertgoers to check ticket details and prepare for mobile ticket scanning hours before the show.
Getting to MetLife Stadium will need forethought given the expected numbers. Coach USA will run from Port Authority, while NJ Transit will extend Meadowlands Rail Line service between Secaucus Junction and the stadium. Beginning at 2:30 p.m., parking lots charge $40 per car and $160 for buses and RVs. Uber and Lyft will be at pickup zones, although wait times and surge pricing may arise after shows.
Tailgating in stadium parking areas will resume in the afternoon, a MetLife concert tradition. Fans must avoid drones, glass bottles, and outside alcohol. The stadium only allows clear bags within specified size limits, except for compact handbags and wallets.
Starting August 30, Lot E will sell Oasis items throughout the festival. Concertgoers may expect a cashless stadium experience since all transactions need credit, debit, or digital payment. Mobile charging stations will be positioned around stadium concourses so fans may take photos without worrying about batteries.
Oasis supporters see these two MetLife Stadium shows as more than simply another world tour stop. They show how a band can overcome internal strife and years apart to connect with listeners through everlasting music. Oasis’s ascension from small clubs in the mid-1990s to one of New Jersey’s largest stages proves their rock legacy, and their reunion will be one of 2025’s best concerts.
