New Jersey Youth Soccer Coach Arrested for Alleged Assault During Game

North Plainfield youth soccer coach arrested for kicking 16-year-old player during game. On October 19, Eliza Youth Soccer and North Plainfield Soccer Elite played at Roselle’s Warinanco Sports Center.
Local police alleged coach Gustavo Rosa Plata kicked a lying kid on the sidelines. Union County Police launched a complete investigation after a timely alarm. Government officials stated the probe involved many interviews, gaming footage analysis, and victim and witness accounts.
Plata was arrested on November 18 for fourth-degree simple assault with a kid at a school or community-sponsored youth sports event after this test. Fourth-degree assault in New Jersey can result in jail time and fines.
According to the court, Plata was fired. We don’t know his court lawyer. Youth sports officials inform players, coaches, and fans about proper conduct.
Parents and sports officials are concerned about young athletes’ safety and teachers’ duty to maintain the place safe. Community leaders have advised all sports teams to enhance their training and standards to prevent problems.
Union County Police stated the matter will follow state laws in court. Talk to a parent or community member about youth sports safety.
