Luxury Theft Case Unfolds at Popular New Jersey Mall

A woman stole designer shoes from a New Jersey luxury department store on a busy mall night.

On Saturday night, police recommend Paramus’ Westfield Garden State Plaza. After seeing a woman depart Nordstrom without paying $880 for Gucci shoes, security called police. A 7 p.m. theft complaint was investigated immediately by patrolling officers.

Police said the man exited the department store and approached the mall’s parking lot rapidly. A Paramus police sergeant saw a lady matching store security’s description shortly after the call. Police stopped the car when she entered.

Stolen Gucci sneakers were banned. Police secretly arrested her following the search and security broadcast.

A 30-year-old Paterson woman was accused of theft. Commodity value renders the claim a third-degree felony in NJ. Finding the shoes didn’t hurt anyone.
