Investigation Underway After Fatal Incident and Overnight Fire on Kearny Avenue

Following a Saturday flight delay, the Minnesota Vikings arrived in New Jersey hours before their Sunday afternoon game against the Giants.
According to Vikings officials, their charter jet left MSP early. After takeoff, a mechanical issue forced the crew to return for safety. After the rapid decision, the jet returned to the airport safely, protecting players, coaches, and staff.
The team was booked on a different plane after checks revealed the issue. The replacement flight arrived late Saturday night at Newark Liberty International Airport. Team management said travel plans were altered seamlessly to help players recover and resume their game-day routine despite the delay.
His appearance disrupted a playoff match between two clubs. Before the weekend, New York was 2–12 and Minnesota 6–8. Both teams are focused on finishing the season professionally and appraising future prospects, regardless of postseason hopes.
Airlines and teams handle uncommon mechanical faults and league travel protocols ensure safety. The Sunday 1 p.m. kickoff and game schedule should not be affected.
The Vikings prepared for game day in New Jersey late Saturday night. NFL officials said safety-first travel is normal and approved by airlines.
The Vikings-Giants game on Sunday afternoon will likely overshadow the little travel interruption.
