Giants Fans Plan Multiple Airplane Banner Protests Ahead of Jaxson Dart’s Debut

New York Giants fans will again fly protest banners over MetLife Stadium before Sunday’s highly anticipated game against the Los Angeles Chargers. With Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart making his first start, the moment is significant.
According to Woodbine-based High Exposure Aerial Advertising, which runs the planes, two banners have been booked to circle the stadium before kickoff, with a third under consideration. The remarks stem from fan resentment over the team’s troubles, specifically ownership and leadership under co-owner John Mara. One banner was inspired by a GoFundMe effort that earned enough money to meet rental fees, but its language is still being finalized.
After a spate of losses, fan-funded banners protested Mara and the Giants’ front office during home games in December last season. Past messages included “ENOUGH — CLEAN HOUSE” and requests for major organizational reforms. Though the sentiments were visible, Mara minimized their influence at the time, saying he was already aware of public unhappiness.
This season’s protests come while the Giants are 0-3 and have lost 14 of 15 games. Since its 2022 playoff run, the team has declined quickly, and head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen are under pressure to turn things around. Fans believe Dart’s debut might be a turning point, but facing the unbeaten Chargers will be difficult.
Giants fans are willing to raise $1,800 for a banner jet plane. With Dart in the spotlight, the demonstrations are expected to garner as much attention as the game, escalating leadership tensions. The rookie quarterback gives Giants fans optimism, but the floating banners warn them that their patience is wearing thin and that visible cries for change are likely to continue unless the team wins.
