Free Community Events in Passaic County Offer Passport, Veteran ID, and Medicare Assistance This September

September offers many opportunities for Passaic County residents to get help with vital paperwork and government services without going far. Free outreach activities across the county will make passports, notaries, and veteran picture ID cards easier to get. Staff will also help with Medicare, Social Security, and veterans’ affairs, giving community members access to critical resources in one place.
The Totowa Public Library, 537 Totowa Road at Cherba Place, hosts the inaugural event on Thursday, September 4. Residents can drop off vital paperwork after work at the 5–7 p.m. session. On Saturday, September 6, U.S. Rep. Nellie Pou and Passaic County Clerk Danielle Ireland-Imhof will host a broader outreach event at the Allwood Branch of the Clifton Library to offer increased services. Federal benefits and county documents will be addressed at this 9 a.m.–1 p.m. session.
All services require appointments, so residents should book ahead. These community programs are popular, so county authorities advise booking early.
Residents in different communities will have convenient access to the outreach program in local libraries, municipal buildings, and county offices throughout September. The schedule includes September 9 at the Hawthorne Municipal Building from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the same day at the Passaic County Clerk’s Administration Building in Paterson and the Clerk’s Satellite Office in Haskell from 4:30 to 7 p.m. These expanded hours make services accessible to persons with various schedules.
Later this month, activities will be held at the Haledon Municipal Building on September 10, the Little Falls Municipal Building on September 11, and the Clerk’s offices in Paterson and Haskell on September 13. To keep residents close to important services, each station is designed for community accessible.
An outreach event travels to the Bloomingdale Municipal Building on September 18 and a larger program to Camp Hope in West Milford on September 24. On September 25, the month concludes with two final meetings at the Clifton Municipal Building in the morning and Berkeley College in Woodland Park in the evening. September 30 marks the end of the outreach campaign.
These events demonstrate the county’s efforts to make government services more accessible. Outreach activities at libraries and municipal centers in Passaic County reduce travel time and irritation when trying to access numerous organizations. These events provide a one-stop solution for passport renewal, veteran ID card applications, and Medicare paperwork, saving time and worry.
The September outreach schedule allows Passaic County citizens to complete important community projects. A growing focus on community-centered service brings federal, state, and county administrations directly to their constituents.
