A tragic shooting incident at a nursing and rehabilitation center in Egg Harbor Township has left one person dead and another critically injured, according to officials from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Authorities confirmed that the incident took place on Monday morning at Excelcare at Egg Harbor, a facility located along Delilah Road. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after reports of gunfire inside the building. Upon arrival, officials found two individuals with gunshot wounds. One victim was pronounced dead, while the other was transported for urgent medical treatment and remains in critical condition.
