Bruce Springsteen Unveils 2026 ‘Land of Hope and Dreams’ Tour, Sets Newark Homecoming Show

In 2026, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will embark on a U.S. stadium tour promoting democracy and American values. The 20-date “Land of Hope and Dreams” tour begins March 31 in Minneapolis and is scheduled to visit New Jersey next spring.
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will play at the Prudential Center in Newark on April 20 for his first home-state gig with the E Street Band since his highly publicized Sea Hear Now festival performance in Asbury Park in September 2024. A hometown return for one of New Jersey’s most legendary singers, the Newark concert will be more than just another tour date for many fans.
Newark tickets go on sale Saturday at noon through Ticketmaster. Additional East Coast dates include UBS Arena in Belmont Park, New York on May 5, Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia on May 8, Madison Square Garden in New York on May 11 and 16, and Barclays Center in Brooklyn on May 14. Sale dates and times vary by venue.
Springsteen, 76, passionately explained the tour’s goal. He called the country’s situation “dark, disturbing and dangerous,” but encouraged fans to be hopeful. Springsteen said the tour will promote democracy, freedom, the Constitution, and the “American dream.” He promoted togetherness through music by inviting individuals of all origins and religions to the events.
The singer’s statement follows her political outspokenness. Springsteen made waves last month when he unexpectedly lambasted President Donald Trump and Minneapolis-based ICE operations at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank. He published “Streets of Minneapolis,” a protest song, continuing his lengthy tradition of social and political music.
After several high-profile performances in recent years, Springsteen’s 2026 stadium run solidifies his place in American rock music. E Street Band arena tours have often evolved into stadium gigs, say industry observers. No dates have been announced after late May, but fans are speculating about major venue extensions.
For New Jerseyans, the April 20 concert is significant. Springsteen has strong ties to the state, and his performances there are meaningful. Given the long time since his last full-scale home-state engagement with the E Street Band, Newark should be popular.
The 2026 “Land of Hope and Dreams” tour’s music, message, and high-energy arena venue will undoubtedly make it one of the year’s most anticipated concerts. Northeasterners are prepared for Springsteen’s “American spring of Rock ‘n’ Rebellion” as tickets go on sale.
