Authorities Continue Search for Retired New Jersey Football Coach Missing Since Friday

Gloucester County, New Jersey, authorities are hunting for 72-year-old retired math teacher and football coach Stephen Ianotti, who disappeared Friday. Ianotti, a Kingsway Regional School District celebrity, was last spotted outside CVS Pharmacy in Logan.
Ianotti is 5-foot-3, 130 pounds, and has gray and white hair, according to officials. He disappeared wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, a green sweat jacket, and a gray beanie. Logan, Mantua, and Pitman are his hangouts.
Authorities suspect Ianotti drives a 1997 black Jeep Wrangler with the unique license plate “RUNT 61.” The Gloucester County Office of Emergency Management advises anyone with information concerning his whereabouts to call 911 or Logan Police at 856-589-0911.
Ground troops are searching Ianotti’s last known location. On Tuesday, officials planned to use a helicopter to search, but 50-mph winds rendered it risky. Police are also tracking Ianotti’s vehicle using local license plate reader data.
The disappearance of Stephen Ianotti has alarmed locals and former students who recall his decades of teaching and coaching. Police are seeking tips and sightings to find him safely.
After the latest update, Gloucester County emergency officials and law police continue to hunt for Ianotti. Families and community members should stay alert and share any information that could aid the inquiry.
