Affordable Housing Lottery Opens for 73 Units in Hainesport, N.J.

The Walters Group has initiated a lottery for 73 income-limited Cornerstone at Hainesport homes. This gives Hainesport residents a new chance to obtain affordable housing. This Creek Road property in Burlington County is affordable for families earning 60% or less of the area’s average income. The drawing will be on October 29 after the application deadline of October 16.
Each of Cornerstone at Hainesport’s six buildings will contain one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Each unit will include a washing and dryer and entry. Improved finishes and open floor designs will make the units more modern. The community’s state-of-the-art fitness center, kids’ play area, basketball court, and clubhouse with computer workstations are cool. Residents can also obtain aid from a social service coordinator.
By January 2026, the first building should be ready for residents. Energy Star and LEED standards are being met during construction. The builders care about eco-friendly construction. The facility was designed by Donovan Architects. Barnegat-based Walters Group builds affordable housing and community development.
The community is near major highways and public transportation, making Philadelphia and Trenton accessible. Cornerstone at Hainesport’s high-quality materials, modern facilities, and environmental commitment make it a terrific affordable home option.
