62-Year-Old Pedestrian Suffers Critical Injuries After Evening Crash in Hackettstown, New Jersey

Local authorities say a vehicle hit a 62-year-old man on a residential street in Hackettstown, New Jersey, Sunday evening, gravely injuring him.
A person was hit by a vehicle in the 600 block of Madison Street around 8:21 p.m., according to police. The Hackettstown Police Department found a man pedestrian with serious injuries after the crash.
Authorities said a 19-year-old Brooklyn Mercedes driver hit the pedestrian. The person was in the road when hit. Investigators found that the person was not using a marked crosswalk when the crash occurred.
